How to automatically create purchase orders in Golden Inventory System
You see in this screencast how set minnimal and target quantity for your items.For example, you want to set the minimal quantity to 50 and the target quantity to 500.
First,open the Item Edit form and change the fields "Min.Qty" and "Target.Qty". After that, you will see this item on the Overview form in the panel "Inventory to reorder" because this item has current on hand quantity less than minimum.
You can click on the button create PO and the program automatically create a new purchase order for a preferred vendor. If you don't want send purchase order right now you can set the status Waiting for this PO.
Finally, you see how to create the Purchase order report for orders with the waiting status.
